Presented by Caroline Fay
Join artist Caroline Fay for this all day Linocut Printing Workshop where you will be taken through the process of single-color linocut printmaking. Learn about design essentials, carving techniques and how to print your very own hand-cut works on paper. We will also explore additional techniques like repeat patterns and multi color printing.
Inspiration will come in the form of foraged items and references from nature. Students will leave with a carved linocut that can be used again and again, a small edition of prints, your very own lino print kit and the essential tools and skills needed to continue creating beautiful prints at home. No previous experience required. Print kit will be provided on the day.
